Race Change and Name Change???
I can’t see a race change being implemented. It would completely break the Personal Storyline. There is a whole section that is based on the race you chose…and the choices within that race.
As for a name change…..they could add that, make a little money, and it wouldn’t break anything. I don’t want it, but I’d +1 that for others that do.

I understand the race issue; however, once your personal story line has moved into the Trahearne’s stage, does your race have any impact anymore?
I haven’t finished the personal storyline on any of my characters so I don’t know. But it seems weird to forbid race changes for something so minor.
Anything I post is just the opinion of a very vocal minority of 1.
It might have something to do with future plans for your Home Instance too. Who knows, but I doubt we’ll see a race change added to the game.

A race change could be easily implemented. Simply have it reset your personal story- all of it while keeping you locked into whatever order you chose and providing no additional reward for completing a second time. If this could be done it’d remove a good deal of the problems the story poses to the idea of a race change.
Now a name-change on the other hand is just vital, I can guess it must suck to have picked a kit up and gotten stuck with another gender’s name. I’d also love to see several more hairstyles, faces and cosmetic detail (scars, makeup, tattoos) all made available. But that’s just my thoughts on how to approach the issue of race changing
