Im thinking of a race war kind of feature. How about a race war?

Human vs Norn vs Sylvari vs Asura vs Charr

its like the system of RF Online and we get to vote for a king .

That would be highly unfair because Charr would be OP.

Human female would win by sheer numbers Bring it on!

Doubtful they would segment the community like that (tho the recent Sylvari revelation does seem to potentially along those lines).

I get the feeling SOMETHING similar to the FACTIONS alliances of GW1 are possibly in the works, but I seriously doubt it will be divided by Races (more likely new Factions in the Jungle and tied to Guild Alliances in some way).

Race or Faction Wars would be an awesome thing that they can add. but i would vote for a Race war. Sylvari master race! i could see those Charr pets and human servants already

I think he is more on the Norn area. Kralkatorik might have damaged them a bit when he flew to the crystal desert (though there is no purple in the Blood Legion Homelands, so maybe not), but if we are going with the scenario that this is happening after the dragons have been defeated then Charr own about a third of the current map.

Would be an interesting thing if they decided to let the sylvariplayers be the enemys all of a sudden, although I highly doubt that this will be the case(would be interesting though ^^)

And I can agree, from a lore-point of view us Charr would undoubtadly win the war, since just the ironlegion and the tookenforces from the ohter legions in the black citadell alone are bigger in force then the armies of any other race(I mean, Sylvari and Norn don’t even have armies, and Asura half golems that run rampart half of the time so yeah…. the only ones with big military other then the charr would be the humans, but they only have manpower, charr own all the tanks and big siegeweapons AND they are the only race that constructed the asuragate in their homecity in a way they could get rid of it in case a war against the other races suddenly started(the humans built theirs right next to their queens throneroom without those precautions, no wonder your species lost almost every war it has been in for the last 300 years)

Jormag awoke Right next to the blood legion homelands… if there are any charr left there, im sure they are turned into mindless frozen drones… either that or they are busy fighting the flame legion… which had its headquaters there… but hey… why would they stay up there after reconquering ascalon? and why would the flame legion move their HQ down south from there, if the place was safe to be in? I strongly doubt the place is ANY kind of Living friendly…

Well they theoretically have the Ebon vanguard(even though those are technically what remains of old ascalon) the shining blade, the ministry guard(which seems to be more of an enemy within his own rights) and the seraph, but yeah, that a race with as little technology and only primitive magic like the centaurs managed to bring their siege to the very doorstep of divinitys reach tells you a lot about human military efficiance xD)
btw: in case anyone wonders what the difference to the enemys right in front of the black citadell is: we charr built that thing right on top of our enemy, not the other way round ;P

Same thing could be said about the charr… i am sure the asura would win, because they are capable of high-tech golem warfare… and of turning the enemy soldiers into mindless golem slaves using inquest tech… remember when we took down zaithan? 1 golem was enough to take down the undead that took out almost an entire column of charr tanks… the chat would be pulverized by the asura xD

Jormag was further North and West from there, not much ice in the Homelands, and the Gold Legion are probably about as much a problem for the Charr as the other rogue factions are to the other races, plus we have also yet to see the Ash legion homelands as well so who knows how large they are. On top of all that Ascalon is the Iron Legion Homeland we only see other legion’s warbands there as they have sent detachments to help out Smoldur, and not the bulk of their forces.

The problem with asura technology can be clearly seen in the Silverwaste encampment:

“You never know with Asura…”

The times their technology works, it works magnificantly indeed, but many other times it ends… unfortunatly…

Psshh we used a searing cauldron against the u dead in orr once. Obliterated everything that was suposed to be obliterated . Worked better than an asura golem

well then the charr just win more

You Bookah do not understand, the blue wire ( 05,05,255 ) not the other blue wire ( 04,06,255 ) or that blue wire ( 05,06,255 ), the blue wire ( 05,05,255 ).

The Asura have pretty trinkets, but they cannot stand against the might of the Charr Legions, the humans tried for a while, and they were only saved by the awakening of the dragons

maybe virus or something (story behind)
this way peopl notice how good comfortabl it is
but probably a lot of “we whant mounts” post in this 2 weak
so maybe a bad idear lol

Aaaaaaaaaaand no.

it would be interesting to see. maybe not as a permanent thing, but occasionally having an all out war of some sort would be fun

also personally i think the charr would definitely be the winner. if anything, they could hide in their black citadel and i don’t think anyone could take it (know why the charr 1-15 zone is the only one without a world boss? because the cannons on the black citadel would blow it to pieces)

and that’s coming from a sylvari. our only option would be to tag team with mordremoth ;P or maybe get some friends from some other races, e.g. quaggans

in the personal story a searing cauldron gets used in orr…seems to work just fine without titans..

i am comfortable with lasers, shield, teleportation guns, weather control
and other high technologie
maybe we send your tanks in the same lava pit ? :P

Istan and Kourna are pretty much stuck with dealing with Palawa Joko’s undead army after he took over Vabbi. They’d probably be a bit busy to help.

Who knows what the Imperial Guard are stuck doing. Maybe keeping the Kurzicks and Luxons from turning Cantha into a bloodbath.

Asura, being a science oriented race, have the technology, but their inability to work together cohesively, largely due to their egos, would make turning them into anything resembling an army problematic.

Charr on the other hand basically breed for war. Their entire culture is pretty much devoted to large scale fighting. Although the various legions have problems with each other, should the Imperator call them to war, all of them bar the Flame Legion, would likely answer. The Charr have turned Ascalon into one big mustering ground.

Humans are kinda stuck. They neither have the technology of the Asura nor the brute power of Charr but they can certainly build fortifications. Of all the races, they’ve got the most heavily fortified cities.

Charr : Outnumbered/Determined to survive
Norn : Outnumbered/ Determined to survive
Sylvari : Outnumbered/Determined to survive
Human : Queues for daysssssss

Sorry if I made gross generalisation, but these were the 1st year numbers. I assume the % spread still holds true going into their 3rd year. Happy to be wrong

Even if the charr are outnumbered they make up for it with cannons, tanks and mortars.

I belive we are mostly talking lorewise here, otherwise we would all be flooded by an amazon army of human females ID

And to the stats itself, I belive I read something recently somewhere about humans having gone back down to 34%, norn still beeing at 19%, charr and sylvari both going up to 15-16% and asura loosing some % and ending around 15%, sylvari and charr got a little help from the HoT marketing campaign since those both races make the biggest impression in the trailers(Rytlock as the main revenant right now and the sylvari as a whole race because of the new storyshift). But yeah, sadly most people still can’t see the glory of the high legions, BUT we have a way slighter difference in the % of female vs male charr than one might think, since females actually look nice, while humans have the biggest relative gendergap within their race.

uhhhh? i was thinking more of US fight other races?… like there is a throne or a Emperium who gets to break it or who holds the throne the longest until the timer ends wins the race war?
