Race size, what impact does it have?
Size doesn’t matter for PvP or at least shouldn’t matter more than class, role, etc. Also there’s an option, I believe, that allows you to see all PvP players the same despite the race.
Size doesn’t matter. They all have the exact same hit-box.
I can’t speak for WvW, but as someone who plays a charr most of the time, I can say I’m often annoyed at how hard it is for me to see Asura. I play on a 28" screen at 4k, 1440p if the client’s acting up, and I have an immense amount of difficulty telling what weapons they’re using, or what abilities they’re using until their on top of me.
I’ve just come to the point where I just don’t let it bother me anymore. I play PvP mostly for free stuff anyways hahah
EDIT: Yes, you can set all characters to have default models, and that makes things easier. I just don’t do it because I don’t particularly like the aesthetic. I don’t play nearly seriously enough for it to matter.
I didn’t know that all characters have the same hit box, interesting. Thank you for that bit of info. However it still makes the asura harder to click on in a scrum of larger characters simply due to body blocking.

If it becomes a problem, try setting the enemy models to default models. It’s in the options menu somewhere. Might be the solution. Otherwise, uh… well, click better… or something. …?
It;s not a problem for me at all, I’m not complaining or anything. I’m simply curious if there is any advantage or disadvantage in PvP for those that are truly die hard/hard core about it and try to min/max in every way possible (I’m not one of those people, I’m pretty casual due to work and other games). In this case, smaller characters taking a few crucial seconds to target could mean the difference between a win or a respawn.
Yea being an asura is OP in PVP! Nothing like not being able to see their tells…..well, most of the time! other than that, their is no advantage or disadvantage to being a minimum or max sized character, at least none that ive noticed.
Norns are to big (when maxed) and humans are to small (ditto) imo. Gaming exp tho shoudnt matter, maybe if ur used to play small and go big it have an impact.
