Please just get rid of them completely since you have already phased them out with the Revenant profession. Also just get rid of of all playable races except the humans since all the armor is designed around them and since you don’t want the choice of race to be a determining factor when people are creating their characters.

Reverse psychology doesn’t transfer well over text such as forums.
It’s comparable to sarcasm, one might get it, the other won’t.

Your exaggeration only lead to your post being a short rant (or vent) lacking constructive thought.

I mean… I use racial skills… sometimes… i feel like they should replace Druid’s Spirit with Vine Whip though. Vine Whip has at least been seen being used by Sylvari.

To be honest I was serious about them getting rid of Racial Skills. From my knowledge they don’t want them to really be too good otherwise people might make a character a certain race because of the bonuses either skills or something else that one race might have over another. Since they really can’t make the skills useful why have them? (I thought they did a similar thing with traits and that’s why they condensed them down or removed unpopular traits)

This thread just reminded me that racial skills exist. That’s how useless I’ve always found them to be.

I’d like to see a tonic that temporarily changes your race and the skills associated with it. With racial specific skins just convert them temporarily to the appropriate equivalent. Would be cooler than most of the ignored garbage tonics Anet like to throw into the game.

Or does it bother you that other people might use a healing seed or turn into a norn bear form? Why? Does it also bother you that thieves go stealth as well?

Plenty of other non racial skills that are never being used…yet nobody complains or makes forum threads about removing them.

-Rangers sharpening stone and some shouts
-Necro spectral grasp
-Necros corrosive poison cloud
-Guards spirit weapons (some, but usually all)
-Engies personal battering ram
-Engies thumper turret
-Engies toolbelt skills( some)

I havent seen anyone use those things since forever yet nobody complains to remove them… they just dont use them, just like racial skills

If you don’t see a problem then why take time to log in and comment on this specific thread instead of ignoring it? Plus I actually have seen people use some of the above skills more than you think. Double plus is there are some who do complain about racial skills and how they are underpowered and some who want them to mean something but then Anet comes along and says “We don’t want them to be too good”. If that is the case then I made the suggestion to just remove them since they have already started doing that.
