Radiant Gear: Why can't we dye it?
For the same reason we can’t dye weapons.

I’m hoping that the Radiant pieces can be dye-able just like Chaos Gloves in GW1. So the concept/vision for it is there already. I’m really hoping to see it improved , because options = always good!
Unfortunately I don’t think you can dye them. At least not the glow color. I would like them to bring back straight up chaos gloves, though; as in the skin of your hand itself appears to glow without any physical armor bits. I would also like to see tattoo and scar patterns return, maybe even glowing ones.

No you can’t dye them, which is unfortunate. I’m really hoping Anet improves upon it in the future though because they are super cool.
Unlikely. The team that designed them is probably already behind on the next patch they need to pump out at light speed.
Why produce quality dyeable rewards when they just get replaced by the next pumped up flashy content 2 weeks later… Much less effort to just make it shiny and unmemorable so they can keep pumping them out.
For the same reason it uses the same skin for light/medium/heavy and is too large for most characters.
It was easier to make that way to make the continuous 2 week deadlines they are trying to keep up with.

Two months. There are multiple live teams working in alternating two month iterations. This doesn’t count the team working on larger updates that get rotated in and the core team that deals with the other areas of the game that are not event related.
Nice attitude you have there though.

Maybe he works as a project manager and knows what he’s talking about! ;D
