Why is it that every time something is free it comes only in one size? Even if you look like a total goof noob.

The mantle is obviously a heavy armor piece, which means medium and light armor wearers will never have a complete armor, unless you enjoy looking like you hatched yesterday.

Please discuss.

It looks ridiculous, even on my Norn Warrior. Imagine what it looks like on my main, a Ranger… That about sums up my opinion of the thing. -_-

Edit: Forgot to post something “positive”. Please make them scale somehow, Anet. It’s bad enough that we can’t dye them, but these don’t even fit. ^^

Will Ranger forever.

Actually, the character the shoulder and arm pieces look best for me are on my little asura engineer.

However, I do wish they had added two variations for light and medium. I also wish they allowed the pieces to be dyed. Other pieces with glowy features you can dye, like the molten gauntlets, so it doesn’t seem to be a technical issue. Why they didn’t include channels for dyeing is beyond me.

I don’t mind the way they look on my Sylvari Thiekittend of nice with the head- and back-piece from the Zypherites. But, each to their own. =)
