This helmet looks really bad. The shoulders and vambraces looks really good, but god, the helmet looks like i don’t know. Make something more fitting please. It would be nice to have more radiance on my body. Currently i use other helmets, but sadly they don’t radiate glow.

It is a matter of taste, I really like the Radiant helmet in my sylvari guardian, it fits really well the look of my character, but in my engineer I use radiant glove and shoulder but the helmet doesn’t fit so I use another thing.

I agree with you. The helmet just doesn’t seem to complete the collection. The rest seem to swirl and glow and be elegant while sturdy. I didn’t expect a Roman style helm to finish the set.

That’s all a matter of opinion, not a fact. Many people actually dislike the shoulders you like.

I think it is pretty unanimously agreeable that the helmet removing Asuran ears and Charr horns is awful, though. They should seriously fix that.

In that part I agree, the aesthetic could keep the same, but be able to keep the ears/horns would be nice.

I use the Radiant Helm on my all-white Sylvari Thief, and on my Asura Guardian and I love it. I use the Gloves, as well. The Shoulders?…not so much. I use them on my Thief, but not my Guardian, as I’m not that fond of them.

So…it’s all a matter of taste. =)

They should give to all armor types rather their own individual versions of the Radiant and Hellfire Armor.

I want to see not only Radiant Helmets, that absolutely don’t fit to light and medium classes.

I’d love to see something like Radiant Circlets for Light Armor Classes
I’d love to see something like Radiant Caps for Medium Armor Classes

To me its lust a lazy act of making those Radiant and Hellfire Skins look for all 3 Armor Types exactly the same.

These Skins just look completely unfitting for Light and Medium Armor Classes cause of the SKins being solely designed for Heavy Armor Classes.

Personally I like the idea behind sub classes ~ quoted from Chris Whiteside

Oh I feel quite the opposite, I love that you can get some metal on light armor. I’m sure that Anet original idea for acheivement light armor was a glowing miniskirt on your head, two short skirts on your shoulders and two slightly longer skirts on your arms.

Thank God they got lazy and just went with the metal pieces they already created for heavy, instead of the skirts.

Fine for you, but we still live in a world, where taste is different and where variety of choice is better, than punishing everybody with the personal taste of a minority.

Because I’m pretty sure the majority of all GW2 players would like it more, if the game -so ANet – would give us all more freedom of choice here in this case.

So please Dawdler, do go troll somebody else please or go into the game, if you are bored…

They’re stating their opinion in a calm and rational manner. If you think it’s going to stop ArenaNet from changing the helm, you’re very wrong. They’ll never, ever, ever change it.

As other people have said it’s a matter of personal opinion and your overall character design. I like the gloves but never use the shoulder pads because they just look ridiculously over-sized on all my characters. But I have friends who use them and on their characters, with the armor sets they’ve chosen it looks really good.

Same with the helm. That would actually really suit my engineer, more than the masks and huge hats which seem to be standard for medium armor. But it would look ridiculous on my ranger or guardian.

Personally I think they’d get more complaints if they made different versions for the different armor classes. This way at least everyone has the same thing, you know what you’re getting and can use it or not depending on whether you like it.

It would be really, really frustrating if there were 3 different versions but you were locked into one you didn’t like by the armor class you’re using, knowing there’s a better version you can’t have.

It’s a matter of tastes indeed, I personally find the gloves utterly dreadful and unfitting for most of characters.

On my Human Engi I use the Helm and gloves for my zerker set, I really hate the shoulders they are far too large for a medium armour user. It’s all personal taste of course which really depends on what class/race you are using each piece on.

I wouldn’t mind them having a few different options tho or adding options so that we could at least alter looks/colours etc.

Since when did this business of being a hero become being a business?

Agree about the shoulders, theyre way to big.. out of proportion. For norn atleast.Same for phalanx btw..the shoulders arent even attached to your shoulders, they just kinda..float above..looks awkward.

Well, it is as you have said. The helmet fits with some armour sets/pieces, but it doesn’t really fit with the shoulders or gauntlets. The gauntlets and shoulders are much bigger in comparison to the very slim helmet. If you look at the other set, molten, all the pieces look similar to each other.

The point of this thread is. If you’re going to release a set of items, you should make them look like they fit each other.

This is how my Warrior in SPvP looks.
