Rage Quiting has to stop people...
Is this a rhetorical question or are you being serious right now?
Where you see fun they see frustration. Most people don’t like being irritated by their forms of entertainment.
If you are doing poorly people probably:
1. Think they could do it faster with a different group by the time you finish.
2. Don’t want to waste their money on brute-forcing their way through via repair costs.
I’d ask why the system is designed to penalize the people still left in the dungeon. If someone leaves, fine. At least let the remaining people find a replacement and continue on.
This is why I run explorable mode only with my guild.
join a guild. Pugs are unreliable.
If there were something rewarding at the end of an effort, might see some change.
It will be a long time before I would atempt to run with a pug. I hesititate to even pug a 5th person on a guild run.
This may change in a few weeks when a section of the playerbase…is ah… busy.
Rocksors: 80 Guardian, Althalus: 80 Thief, Birigitte: 80 Ranger, Roacsors: 80 Warrior
you can replace people in the middle of the dungeon you do realize. had it happen to my group in AC and we replaced the person and then continued on.
[GWAM] and [LUST]
Mess with the best, die like the rest.
We had to finish the last 3 or 4 parts of arah off storymode with just two people. I agree, its kinda bad when 3/5 leave when your team was somehow randomly put together and was completely balanced, and steamrolling everything they fought.

Haha!
Just this minute left a pug after an hour of trying to finish my personal story event: kill Zhaitan.
Why?
“You aren’t making an suggestions!”
When I was the only person in the group who admitted at the start to never having been there before, and my suggest in reality was, “Let’s regroup at the waypoint and talk about what to do.”
It’s not possible to be any more reasonable than that, yet the kittentards who continue to breed and join these games see this as a deficit.
So my answer is: if you keep getting ragequitters in your groups, are they worth staying with?
I doubt it.
I don’t run them at all because people are “just trying to get tokens”. If you don’t move fast enough or know 100% what to do or where to go, they get pissy. The few I have done with pugs ruined the experience. I only run them with guild members now. You all want to see how fast you can do them, and complain when people can’t do them as fast you want. I seriously doubt he just rage quit. I am sure it was more like they were fed up with an attitude they got from you for not being fast enough or tired of charging into everything as fast as possible so you could get your tokens.
“Most people don’t like being irritated by their forms of entertainment.”
Most people need to admit that this is not the hobby for them. Back in GW1 they had Dishonor which punished casual idiots that would leave a PvP match and ruin the game for everyone else. This is not a football game on television, it’s a world with human interaction, you’re going to get irritated from time to time. Commit or go away.

This game is geared for the casual idiots, because they’re the majority sadly and easily impressionable
