I passed by shop selling DVDs and VCDs of movies and I saw on some covers, I think it was the Golden Compass… There was a polar bear wearing some sort of armour.

And it got me thinking… Why do ranger pets strut around naked?

I would totally love to make a ranger if I can get a pet stalker to put on some rave armor or something like this -

Now our pets can die with style!

When seeing your (OP’s) reference, I however immediately think of the Kodan. In fact, when I see the Kodan, I always think of that movie.

As much as I’d like to see my pet wear really cool armor like that polar bear, I just don’t see Anet taking the time to put this into the game. It’s too much time with too little reward, (Sounds familiar, doesn’t it?), and I just don’t think they would take the time to do this.

I have always thought Capt. Pigard was under-dressed.

I love the idea, but IMHO i think we have a higher change that they add Heroes (like in GW1), to the game than that!

In fact GW2 was expected that each character would have one Hero, but they cut that near launch. IMHO reserved for a future expansion our massive update!
