Easy fix: Just make pets blow up every five minutes like how they decided to fix turrets in that regard >.>
If they want to do that, then fine.
It’s a horribly inefficient manner of farming so if they want to waste their time, let them. Letting the pet do the killing without doing anything is half as fast as just playing normal so their only screwing themselves.
They would make money twice as fast by doing it the intended way. If they want to take the hit and waste their time I really couldn’t care less. I play a Ranger, I have tried this ‘method,’ it’s painfully slow even with 30 points in Beast Mastery.
No one with any sense actually does this.

Frankly it is just a time waster. I usually use it waiting for teq, not going to make me anything. As said above much, much faster to go with the pet.
I’ve had it happen to me accidentally. Standing on a ranger, get called away from the computer, come back and find stuff to collect. But trying to do it intentionally it’s just too slow. I mean if you’re farming, you’re better off killing stuff, since you do more than half the damage.
I suspect anyone doing this regularly would be reported as a bot, and then suspended/banned eventually, as to any watcher it would seem to be such.
As a ranger I did it once for like 10 minutes, while I was eating chips and salsa at the computer haha. Got 2 t6 blood from it luckily so I have funny memory of it, but its obviously a dumb way to farm.
