Great idea, but I don’t think many guilds will be pumped to transfer when all their influence and progress vanishes. At best we’ll get a few undecided randoms who are probably not very interested in WvW anyway.

Shouldn’t they have fixed up the system for Guilds changing servers before attempting this free transfer move?

They should just merge the medium sized servers.

Thats a pretty drastic measure, I think what they’re doing now is a good first step.

Even on Henge of Denravi we get WvW queues some nights, so merging would just make one server thats way too big.

I think there is going to be an exodus from crystal desert… I will probably leave, despite having 2 “stash” guilds in it along with a pretty cool main guild. WvW is just too horrible for the forseeable future.

I was hoping to transfer to Gate of Madness but it’s currently only letting me transfer to only Henge, Ferguson’s, or Eredon. These are the only medium populated servers atm.

However, we were told we could choose from the following:

Eredon Terrace
Ferguson’s Crossing
Gate of Madness
Henge of Denravi
Northern Shiverpeaks
Sorrow’s Furnace

Does this mean I have to wait for Gate of Madness to have a medium population before I can get a free transfer?

Merge the medium sized servers? That makes no sense.

Just take the largest server, and send portions of it’s population to each medium sized server.
