So I love how tons of people lost money (including myself) on gambling on the value of items like Dreamthistle skins, Zodiac skins, and Aetherized weapon skins only to have A-net re-release these in ridiculous methods like “Oh now there just in black lion chests” you don’t even need a ticket to get them or anything they’re just in there now.
Or my favorite the Aetherized weapons are just in fractals now – rightttt…..

But for some reason people who hoarded Fused weapon skins or the Halloween skins. NO NO NO its OK – let them make tons of money and let them go up to 2k gold plus on the Trading post and the people who bought 50 of them at the time they were 8g and 30g a piece respectively that’s fine – cuz you know “Reasons”… lets let those people make TONS of money cuz that makes sense- gg wp

PS. I also like it when you guys do that with Dyes too, like – UH OH they’re getting expensive time to re-release them for NO REASON whatsoever..

just re-release everything, no point in even making anything exclusive anymore since you re-released everything minus 2 sets of weapons

Incidentally, they’ve added the ghastly grinning shield and greatsaw to the Mystic Forge loot table. The prices for those two have been dropping. I haven’t seen any sign of the scythe or anything yet, though. However, considering how they’re making more and more older, expensive skins easier to get again, the Fused weapons (and the rest of the Halloween ones) could be brought back, too.

I don’t really need a lesson in risk vs reward, I’m trying to point out that there is no logic in what they do and that its totally rigged, like they play favorites with people who happened to buy early BLT skins but everyone else can go f- themselves – its dumb and nonsensical – if it was up to me I’d make a ton of weapon sets exclusive but they decided to re-release them all minus 2 sets – its ridiculous.

How do you know that they are not going to release the fused weapons? Do you have a source, or only a rant.

This may be the start of cycling diff sets through the bl chests. Which is a good thing if they decide to. Bl tickets for weapons were a fairly poor rng system, so improving the system for everyone is better for the game.

It would be strange to do this for a few skins and not cycle in the others at some point.

That is the weakest point I’ve ever heard. But your self said so far. So far ANet have not finished story threads that have been left since launch. So far they have not finished them, so if we follow your thinking they never will………

Someone is salty over the fact that they lost money. if oyu make money through farming it will feel a lot better than making money through hoarding skins and other things. I am sitting with a lot of money that I earned without having to rip off other people because they want the ability to get some of the cooler weapon skins in the game.

So, your point is “They’re watching what we buy and trying to deliberately punish people who bought later Black Lion skins”. Good to know I don’t have to take you seriously.

So, your point is “They’re watching what we buy and trying to deliberately punish people who bought later Black Lion skins”. Good to know I don’t have to take you seriously.

well think about it – they re-release the halloween skins from the first year in a lottery – implying that yes these skins are indeed exclusive (since its the reward of a lottery) at the same time they have a lot of other sets that are exclusive (no longer obtainable except for on the TP, such as Aetherized, fused, zodiac, dreamthistle)

So you would think OHH there making things exclusive like the early sPVP armor that still isn’t re-released. Then in one fell swoop they re-release all of them from content that doesn’t even financially benefit them – like aetherized weapons being dropped in fractals.

and they even release 2 halloween skins in the mystic forge with the latest patch – its like they cant decide to make things exclusive or not exclusive and then when they decide to make them non exclusive, they do it half baked and they don’t release everything that was previously exclusive at the same time – none of it makes any sense and in turn it does indeed favor those who bought the exclusive weapon sets which they didn’t re-release, because they just happened to overlook those or not get around to re-releasing them in some form back into the game.

so yah that is playing favorites in some form, it makes no sense and you can rationalize it anyway you like ( oh they haven’t gotten around to it yet or they forgot about those weapon sets and now they remember and their going to release it sometime in the future) why not release it all at the same time? why give some players INSANE profits and others you screw, try to balance the game and TP and try to do it fairly would be nice and stop waffling on idea’s of exclusivity with your programming decisions.

Otherwise you’ll just get more players who are annoyed by this like myself and others, and those people might stop playing, and from the looks of it lately gw2 can use all the players it can get.

I would actually be ok with fused and sclerite weapons coming back. Anet made a collection achievement for them long after they got discontinued, so it would be fair

They could, for all anyone knows, release fused weapons next and those people will lose their potential profits. Like stated above, it’s all a gamble. They’re not going to spend all this time creating a set to never, ever release them again, that’s insane.
