Reaching 100% Condition Duration?

I’m trying to figure this all out in my head, I know having a full armor set of 6 pieces of Yassith’s viper gear will give me 13.8%, and having some food will give me 20%. My biggest question is, should I sacrifice whatever stats necessary to reach 100% condition duration? Is it that important? If so . . .having sigils for my weapons, and the others i posted above, I’ll have a solid 50.8% condition duration, how would I reach the other 50%? Or maybe I’m being plain dumb and you can’t get 100%. But I’ve heard reaching the max is the way to go. Sorry if this post was kinda sloppy, If you have anything to say I’ll respond to clear some things up =D.

PS: I’m a condi engineer.

No, some builds or situations its not always the best stat to max, but for engies in pve it pretty much is.

Engies firearms gives 33% to both burning and bleeds. Giver weapons give lots of + condi duration but there is a sacrifice of other damaging stats as it comes with vital (still a good pick). Runes are a good source, nightmare is a good choice (+15%), those are from twilight arbour dungeon.

You can also get a viper amulet with http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Mordrem_Loop

Be careful.

Vipers and other similar sets use the new stats which get downscaled when you’re <lv80. If you want to maintain a flat percentage without downscaling at the cost of a bit of damage, use Giver’s weapons with Sigil of Malice.

Easiest way to max:
Super Veggie Pizza (budget, but good enough)
Giver’s weapons , or one of the new stat combos like Viper
Superior Sigil of Malice in one slot
Nightmare runes from Twilight arbor
Armor and jewelry with Expertise (possible only on HoT).

Its really not easy to hit 100% for more than one condition. But you should be able to reach 60-80% with relative ease and many classes have ways of extending this.
