areas to explore. Been there done that many times. Bored with all my toons. No real favorite just some professions I dislike. Maxed all professions, tried different builds until just settling in on each profession with no real reason to keep modifying the build.

Problem is I just like experimenting with different races and professions. Sometimes I find a toon I just love to play and it becomes my favorite for almost everything or a particular role with other family members. I fully realize this is a “roleless” game; but maybe that is why there is a feeling of not belonging and so many players are out just for themselves.

No expansions planned so no new toons to experiment with. Other family members have already left the game or barely playing. Therefore our long distance family play together time is becoming more rare. Really miss that with nothing on the GW2 horizon to bring them back.

Everyone have a great day and remember to go out of your way a little to revive that downed player.

I cant believe Anet would destroy families like this. And not do anything about it. :/

Another thread about this, really? People should realise that you cannot have expansions a few months after the game has been released. No game works like that kitten

I don’t get it, either. People log inordinate hours blasting through content at breakneck speed and then sound both genuinely surprised when they find themselves burned out and genuinely disappointed to learn expansions aren’t usually released within 12 months of an MMOs launch.

That’s why sandbox MMOs are better designed. Because they allow players to make their own content. Not sit and wait for developers to do everything.
Neverwinter for example has player made dungeons. So they will have unlimited amount of content. Never ending. Gw2 has finite. At some point people are going to get bored doing the same things over and over again. That’s why they want new play styles.

Nothing new will be introduced until we get out of this beta testing phase. Yes, it is not over yet.

I played an hour a two a day, a few days a week, and I got bored after about a month. Only reason I even visit the forums every now and again is to check if anything new is getting released because I am hoping to at least get my moneys worth of play time out of this game.

Hope neverwinter has a good way to filter all the kitten user made content out. EQ2 did this it didnt end well. Also its to easy to explote with user made stuff.

User made or not its going to be alot of cookie cuter stuff

Except for Neverwinter is NOT going to be good at all — Perfect world entertainment…. You can expect a crappy game built around a cash shop… i had a friend who gave me a beta key and after 2 hours of play it didn’t feel anything like D&D games should.

I think this would work better if insted of logging onto the forums you attempted to play differant parts of the game from time to time. Do some of the daily goles or something that may intorest you…. thay change

Idk what exactly you’ve been playing but this is literally the only MMO I’ve ever played where the players WEREN’T completely out for themselves…. o.O

Micro: This game may not be your cup of tea.
Macro: Playing ANY game exhaustively will lead to burnout.
