Realism?
One word:
MAGIC
Also don’t forget Asuran miniturisation tech.
How could you drop meteors from the sky or fire a rocket from your crotch? Just sayin…..
I enjoy carrying a bottomless pocket of caltrops.
Maybe the Pants smelled like poo. Which is the reason why the fly had the pants in the first place. Think about it. There is touch of realism in there. Flys are attracted to smelly bad awful things, mostly poo-ish smelly stuff. That or the fly wanted to “Fly” in style.
LOL. I don’t care who doesn’t find that funny I’m adding that to the list of bad awful things that sounded funny to me
I think the word you’re looking for OP, is plausibility and I agree, it’s not plausible. A lot of things in these games aren’t realistic, but we can buy into them, such as magic. A corpse fly with armor remnants, not so much.
However, it’s not a far cry to say that you killed a corpse fly, which was on/near a corpse which has armor and that’s what was left. It is after all a corpse fly.
Far more disturbing to me when a deer is walking around with a hammer. lol
I had a mosquito drop a spear gun, that got a pretty good laugh from me and my guild mates.
That was the deer that killed Bambi’s mom the hunter missed.

Maybe the mosquito’s stinger WAS the spear gun. Ever think of that? Huh? Huh? lol
Hee, yeah…don’t get me wrong…I like loot.
There could be flies with pants. Mutated flies. Its possible. After all it was a corpse fly, wasnt it? It could have stolen the pants from a corpse.
Just as possible as dragons pooping out shining giant chests.

Maybe he got mutated by standing in this pillar of light that transports you anywhere in the world in a fraction of a second.

That’s a ridiculus statement, only 1 in 10,000 Asurans are reported to be turned inside out by the waypoint system and never has mutation occured.

Don’t be naive. There have been plenty of mutations. They’ve all been gathered up and moved to The Crystal Desert.
This is what it is
What gets me is standing on the battlements of a keep and firing . down . at . someone who is… somehow… out of range? O-kay! I guess that means if I jump off the battlements the ground will be out of range, too, so I won’t hit it – and I’ll be able to fly! Like a corpse.
Edited for bizarre infestation of kitten.
