Trying to send gold to my main account.. Seems even 3gold is too much (LOL)

Can’t really play on NA (which was my point) due the lag/delay it gives when playing from EU. So can’t even give the items to my main account :/

Really, can’t even send 50silver.. When is this gone?? PLS

I think the max gold you’ve found/received plays a role as well. I sent 5g to my new account and I’ve been able to send back 1g at a time to “pay it back.” Never tried sending a larger sum.

I can’t even send 50silver…

I had this problem when I started my daughters account. As soon as she got a few AP it cleared right up.

It seems the ability to send Gold may be associated with the amount of Gold an account has earned, as well as game hours played.

If, after some time, you continue to have difficulties, you can contact the CS Team for assistance.

The wiki states that “The amount of items and coin transferable is capped for newer accounts. The cap is gradually alleviated as you progress in the game.” I know that by the time my daughters toon pinged 20 I was able to send her pretty much anything.

I believe it takes 31 days or so for the restrictions to go away completly. You can raise your current limit by playing.

This is correct, simply type in /age in chat in game and it will show you how old your account is. Once the 31 days are up, the restrictions will go away.

Last Friday my son started a whole new account, playing GW2 for the first time. I sent his dude 10 gold just after he got out of the introductory story line, and it worked fine.

His restriction was, that he couldn’t use the guild bank until he was in the guild for 3 days, so I mailed him the backpack upgrades my daughter had stashed in the guild bank.

Ah, no he hasn’t.

I thought the OP was trying to send gold from his old NA laggy account to his new account based on the assumption that the new account would have the lesser amount of gold.

Can’t you put it in a guild bank and extract it with the other account?

Good idea, actually, lemme see if guild bank works

Pretty sure the restriction also covers depositing in Guild bank….

Alternatively delete all your chars and transfer for free.

I can put items into the guild bank, however..
I can’t put in all the gold at once, I had to Deposit 50 silver and repeat.
