Running around in sw, I realized that My elem is a smooth ride.
So I wonder if the current state of burn stacking will stay or I someday will log in to
see it crippled to please the pvpers. ?

I doubt ele will be "crippled’. Frankly its mechanics are too heavily tied together to completely nerf one part of em. Thats not to say it won’t be changed in some way though. If anything though it probably won’t be huge. Im fairly confident your ele will stay a smooth ride if thats what your enjoying now.

Yes, a nerf of some kind is definitely coming.

I’m sure the nerf herders are hard at work, herding new nerfs so the cycle of nerfs can begin anew.

Or maybe they’re nerfing away, deep in the nerf mines, loading up cartloads of nerfium to dump into the game.

Or maybe they’re slaving over a hot nerf in the nerf kitchen that just needs a little more nerf.

Or maybe they’re just as happy about the state of the ele as you are.

I heard they were brewing nerf potion but the need to wait for the kitten to howl on a full moon in order to get the nerf just right. Apparently a kitten howling on a full moon reveals just the right amount of nerf to use on eles. Somehow I think this also relates to temptest and warhorn.

This is why PvP should be banned from all mmo’s. It breeds doubt and mistrust with the devs.

Well you know burn is slightly out of balance when my poorly spec condi-guardian is just killing things left and right.
Still… I like it that way it is

Seriously. They gave world bosses a buff to survive conditions better. Now imagine being on the tail end of that as a player. No buffs for you. And not fun.

I despise nerfs, and would love it to death if I used conditions like burn as well, but anyone in PvP and WvW knows there’s a problem.

A. Serious. Problem.

Ele was already relatively easy in SW compared to other classes. The changes to condi stacks really only affected main bosses where there is enough players and long enough time to have stacks consistently being overridden.
