Looked human male to me. Maybe Sylvari male. Hard to tell with full armor.

I too was curious as to what armor they were wearing

That armor caught my attention so completely I didn’t look at the background. Someone in Twitch chat asked if LA looked different in the distance but none of the subsequent clips on the stream showed the long view.

Good catch. Looks to be the ley line coat and shoulders and the skirt/shoes from a set discovered earlier. They match up nicely though. At least at low res .
