Recent gameplay changes
Could you give some examples? I haven’t heard of anyone saying the dungeons are any harder because of the newest patch. I also haven’t heard of any complaints in open world content, besides Tequatl.
In before the “Learn to play the game.” crowd comes in.
Many people in this game have are unable to understand that there are hardcore players and casual players. Usually, the hardcore players are the ones that hope the content is hard and challenging, while the casuals hope they can do events as casual or enjoyable.
ANET needs to please one of this crowd. They probably notice that the Hardcore crowd outnumbered the casuals in their metrics, so, guess what type of content ANET will dish out…..

I would be beyond amazed if this “hardcore” crowd anywhere near comes to close to the number of “casual” players.

what about people like me who are not so pro and just want to enjoy the game as smoothly as possible ?
Go do the 99% of the games content which is faceroll easy.

well the path where you need to protect the npc in AC and kill the burrows with ice bow The icebow now leaves the burrows on 10-15% hp and then having to kill it see you amass 20+ bleedstacks pretty quickly. Ive done some dungeons and I was able to recover but most of my pug group wasn’t and we were stuck here for quite some time ( all had 8k+ Ap so they weren’t exactly new either)
So it is very easy for a casual player to get overwhelmed with the bleed stacks. But i have not had much problems in any of the other dungeons ive run ( I do not run many dungeons have done TA , AC and HOW since patch )
I like the more challenging content as the old sit and watch a movie while you spam approach was getting a bit stale. So like any new difficult content people will get over it . TEQ was unbeatable – till people did it. Wurm was unbeatable – till be did it.
The only way you can improve is by playing difficult content. the saying " to be the best you ahve to compete with the best " this is similar but a NPC should never ever be the best ( unless its Xan from UT )
So now people stand and spam skills in one spot not thinking sort of like LEMMINGS . And now they get upset when a boss does something new. I have been hoping that at one point Anet changes some stuff like the stack spot at shatter that every now and then kitten slams his foot down or smacks his tail onto that embankment rekking every one on it, it will force people to move around.

After doing some dungeons I’d say some of them got a little bit harder because of stacking conditions. The changes to conditions didn’t only buff players, but also npcs.
Still the typical brain-afk dungeons go as smoothly as ever, so as long as you have some kind of condi-cleanse there shouldn’t be any problem even for a casual group.
Ac burrows still die in one ice-bow 4. Nothing changed about that.
