Recording gameplay
Plenty of people have recorded their gameplay and put it on YouTube, and the forum threads about them haven’t been locked (some even have ANet devs commenting). I’m pretty sure it’s ok. (For example, there is a whole thread in Linksville of YouTube videos of people soloing dungeons, and it’s been around for a long time without being locked.)

Generally, you’re allowed to record video games as long as you don’t sell it.
That said, I’m sure youtube partners like Dontain profit off of it.
Officially, you’re not allowed to monetize. However, they won’t actively go out and issue take down requests if you choose to do so.
