Like countless other players did with countless other items, at the time he made a rational decision, just because things changed he shouldn’t come ask for refunds.
I don’t go asking for a refund if my clothes go out of style.
This kind of attitude hurts the game evolution, honestly I bet the people responsible for refunds are wishing this update never happen.
Also because their hands are so full they’re likely asking for more people to help and now you have the investors/moneypeople wondering why the hell they need to hire and pay some extra salaries to deal with something like this, in the future they’ll just say no to any change like this, that’s what you get.
