Release website doesn't pass december 2012
Considering the Oct 2012 page wasn’t added until a couple weeks before the event, it means absolutely nothing. The month by month highlights such as these will come the closer we get to each month. Wipe your tears and if you must you can use my tissues. Be happy =)

January → After all this stuff, we might have a few months without new content…
I think they based all releases (including the first) on mystic mayan mentality, plus a world changing dynamic event will segue nicely into the end of the world in December!

I think a “wooohooo! The mayans WERE just lazy” update would be appropriate.
If the mayans were so good at predicting that kind of thing, don’t you think there might be more mayans around these days?
It could be worse.. it could have said “December 21, 2012: Coming Soon.”
Or even worse!
