Hi all,

This is mostly addressed to ArenaNet since no-one else really has the power to do anything and I think I can anticipate most player-responses.

Thanks heaps for the updates, the living story has been a LOT of fun lately, especially with the invasions… and to have SAB back, love it!

I am however incredibly let-down about the removal of the ascended MF items from the vendors. I am aware that the items already purchased/found (of which I have 2) give you the option to change stats, that’s fantastic … I’m not after these items for the stats but specifically because of the lore. Namely the Jewel of Ahdashim and the Armbrace of Truth.

I never got around to buying the Jewel for its stats because it didn’t have the Utility infusion slot, I was still going to buy it eventually. I never got around to buying the Armbrace because I spent my laurels on neck pieces or rings for alts (I’m up to 7 80s now)… but I was going to buy it eventually.
Had I known they would be removed I would have re-prioritized and bought them pre-patch.

Like the Karma change wasn’t really communicated I was hoping you would be able to re-instate these items for a short time so that I would be able to purchase.

Ah so you did – apologies, I did look around a lot for threads that were related.

When we received the ingame mail about magic find with yesterdays patch it had an ingame-mail that outlined the changes.

This kind of mail is great. You could send more like ‘how the economy is ’going to nonequilibrium’, the karma changes, item changes, the account wallet.

All those kind of changes are things players NEED to hear about. Not just the players that frequent the forums or read the launcher in 3 second before it launches.

Not even kidding though – I really am sad about this and would like them back for a short period of time to purchase … 2 weeks or something.

I would love that. I’d spend all of my laurels and commendations on these items because they reference GW1. I mean seriously. Completely remove Armbrace of Truth with NO warning? No notification? Seriously?!
