I think removing the 7 days limit on server transfers for today would be a good thing. I transferred servers to play with my brother for a little bit not realizing I wouldn’t be able to transfer back to my home world before free server transfers were removed. Now I am going to be stuck on this server I don’t give a crap about.

I will admit that I did make a mistake and didn’t look up information as I was coming back from a long break, but I am sure I am not the only person in a similar situation.

I made the same mistake as you. Now i’m stuck in a different server from my friends. With low level characters (level 2 – 7) without gold to exchange with gems for paid server-transfer later.

Sorry to inform you guys, but Anet wants your money.

There’s a saying that come to my mind with this: “A lack of planning on your part does not constitute an emergency on my part”, or in this case, on the part of Anet.

Sucks to be in that position. Maybe you can ask your guildmates/friends to chip in to help buy you a transfer back.
