Custom Arena Time Tokens have a very limited audience and there are plenty of other ways to acquire them. It makes no sense to keep them in BLCs.

I agree. First black lion chest I opened on my second account had 5 of these tokens. They’re 100% useless to me.

Can we make those tokens tradeable? I’d gladly sell mine.

I would love to sell mine. I have most of them from PVP reward tracks, but have no need for them at all.

Yeah, having them become tradeable would be great. Then I could give them to guildies who do pvp and stuff.

You can unofficially trade them by using them on someone else’s custom arena to extend the time before it expires.

I wasn’t aware that these even came from the chests as I have never had one drop, but I agree with the OP. I spend my time divided between WvW and PvE and these items would be useless to me and a waste of bank space. If I am unable to sell them then I will simply destroy them.

Side note to ANet: Some of us have no interest in the vitriol that comes with the PvP environment. I do WvW, but the chat isn’t open and I can avoid 99.9% or the diatribe there while supporting my server. Please remove these from the chests.

Just use them on your favorite arena its a RNG box you get lot of stuff you dont like from it.

Uhm…wasn’t saying it was a thing. Was simply saying its completely possible, given that you can use your time tokens on any custom arena. Doesn’t have to be on that belongs to you.

Haven’t looked them up because I really don’t care, but I keep them and have a bunch.

It is a bummer when I get them in BLC, would rather have a BL scrap.

Each token adds one day to the availability of a person’s personal custom arena. A purchased custom arena has a base of 30 days. To retain it longer than that, you need to extend its ‘life’ with the time tokens.

I have accumulated 65 of these tokens, since launch.
They are taking up space, yet I don’t want to discard them, on the off chance of trading them for something useful.

This is a fair argument, but I think there is a difference between items which players don’t “want” but most will use now and again (boosters, merchants, etc.) and items which most players have no use for. Even most PvPers don’t frequent custom arenas.

I’ve got them and doled a couple out on farms I’ve joined to get my dailies. Quite funny when one guy said ‘Stop, please, that’s enough time for me’

That’s really what I’m hoping for, if they don’t remove them from the BL chests.

I believe you can already buy them for 2 gold a piece (unless that is old information). If you let players trade them, they will still have a hard cap of 2 gold. Realistically, they will be worth somewhat less.

I usually sell them for 50s each to people who own a custom arena.
(This is a bit of trust trading. They give me the gold and I go to their arena and use the tokens)

I have a few gotten several of these, but I don’t play PvP, so they are basically useless to me.

I would recommend that these tokens should either be removed them from the Black Lion Chest loot options, make them tradeable so that we can sell them on the TP, or give them a default value so that we can sell them to a merchant.
