I don’t know if I should put this in the bug, complaint or living world.

Apparently on the newer maps, Renown Hearts reset each day. This has got to go.

The first day, I did all but one. When I came back the next day, the map screen said I had 3 out of six. Yet if I look at the map, all the hearts were empty…..WTH…..

Now I know some of the earlier new maps required you to do all hearts in the same day for map completion. Yet this seemed to be some kind of a hybrid of that.

I really don’t care if this is some kind of bug or what….you should only have to do the Renown Heart once per character.

The game should be fun, not frustrating….who likes to have to do something over just because they didn’t have time to do it all in one go.

Still. why is there a reset for the Renown Hearts? I can’t think of anything that that would add to making the game more fun……only frustration.

Umm…that’s the new map mechanic? Something else to do in the map each day? There is absolutely no requirement to complete the new Renown Hearts more than once (barring the bug). Feel free to ignore them.

People can complete hearts each day to get extra jade shards from the karma vendor. You can even do it on multiple characters.

They are repeatable but optional. I am not seeing any problem with that. There was an issue when they first rolled out in Ember Bay but that issue has been fixed.

Just because you can’t able to see the problem, doesn’t mean that problem doesn’t exist:

Thank you IC. I was afraid about ANet could make it again, and I was right.
I am trying to finish every LS in the 4 new maps at the same time I complete the 100% of the map without leave because of this. But its a hard to do with my several PCs (my problem) and having another things to do (my problem again).
I arrived to the map just having that PoI (you know what PoI I means) to do, just to find all my Hearts reset: “You did again and I knew you will do it” was my though. And I did all the Hearts again… coming south from the north, then my last 2 Hearts was exactly those I needed lol…
Yes, the Hearts’ reset bug it’s a problem if you are mapping.

It is done so that players have stuff to farm for zone specific currencies, in order to get minis and trinkets. No doubt NCsoft wanted GW2 to become a korean grinder wannabe that can’t even compete with actual korean grinders.
