Guild Wars 2

Just out of curiosity, is there a specific reason why we don’t have the option to change the order in which our guilds are listed? I know it’s entirely cosmetic, but I like the idea of having the gchat channels I talk in (versus the guilds that are just personal storage) to be in /g1 or /g2.

Currently, you can change the order by leaving them and rejoining them in the order you want them listed, but I’m lazy enough to just want to be able to either click-n-drag or have an arrow up/down to change them.

I’d like this as well.

I’m not even sure what order guilds are in. I thought it was the order you joined them, but the guild I joined in the first week is below my private bank guild, which didn’t exist until months later. Other than that they’re in the order I joined…I think, I don’t remember with two of them because I joined both within days of each other.

But however it’s done the end result is that the two active guilds are at the bottom of the list, preceded by a 3 person bank guild and 2 dead guilds. I’d really like it to be the other way around.

This is annoying me as well cause I just left some old dead guilds I joined shortly after the game started but the guild that I founded and that I’m actually active in is stuck at slot #4 for some reason and I’d rather have it in my #1 slot, because well, obviously.

There’s a specific programming reason. Could it be fixed? Sure. Is it worth doing? I don’t think so.

If/when ANet decides to do a badly-needed overhaul of the guild UI, this would be a good thing to include. Until then, I think we can live with it. Well, I know I can.
