Just because you fight dragons doesn’t mean a bear couldn’t mess up your armor.

I think trolls should have their computers smashed. ’Its all part of the game. U mad bro?’
Why am I wearing armor that can be messed up by a bear against dragons? Am I that dumb?
I don’t know. Are you? :p
Get the best armor in the game, go to Queensdale, and let a rank new bandit hit you…
Are you taking damage? Yes.
Can your armor be damaged if you are downed and killed? Yes.
If a lowbie enemy can mess up your armor, so can a bear, oh Great Dragon-Fighter…

It’s the bear cavalry. Even Dragons fear them.
for there you have been and there you will long to return.
because you aren’t stealing the door from Taidha Covington and using that to make armor.
Now that I think about it why is it that we don’t make armor out of the stuff we can’t ourselves destroy? Why is the High Commander of Tyria so impractical?
Well one of the reasons is that the materials can be too difficult to work with. Such as what happened in volume 11 of Overlord when Ainz gave an ingot to a dwarf smith and the smith couldn’t figure out how to heat up the ingot to work with it.
Can ANet add in a incredibly low chance that being hit by a Bear’s “Maul” attack can cause any piece of armor to gain the Damaged or Broken condition?
Because at this rate, the last Elder Dragon is probably just a really grumpy dire bear.
