Guild Wars 2

It blows my mind we can’t replay the personal story on our characters. It’s one of the most interesting quest chains in game and yet we can only play them once. Why is that? all the rest of the personal quests are replayable.
Is it because of the choices that affect the game afterwards? (like what guild we choose or other options) because if it’s that, they could just only let us choose the option we chose when we first played it and problem solved.
I had a lot of fun playing that, and I’d hate to be forced to create another character just to do it again (I only play with my main).

Id guess its because of the 3 orders of which you have to choose one.
You are clearly told that the choice is irrevocable and once you have joined an order, you cant then join another.
Making it replayable would negate this.

that’s why I just said that of that’s the case, only let us choose the one we did at first.
Lock out any options that would mess things up in the game.

You are largely limiting yourself by only playing one character, you are missing out on a lot of content, including story line, lore, skins and rewards. You have open slots available it sounds like, my advice would be to use them and enjoy content you haven’t seen.

i barely have time to play 1 character, so thats pretty much out of the question.

Maybe you could use the time you would be repeating the Personal Story to experience the Personal Story on another character.

It’s a thought.

Play it on another character such as a sylvari,it’s like playing a different set of scenes that gives you a different view of the game.
