Q:

I’m getting a bit tired of reporting broken events, not because they keep breaking, but because I don’t know if the info is still useful to the devs. Do they fix events on an individual basis? Do they plan something bigger(event timeout, etc)? Do they actually need more data to include in their formulas for a definite fix?

I just like to know if reporting these things isn’t just a waste of time at this point.

How long does it take you to report a bug that you’re worried about wasting time? I think the longest it’s taken me was 2 minutes and most of that was trying to find the perfect spot for a really illustrative screen shot. Most of the time it takes maybe 30 seconds to hit /bug and type a report.

I like to report every bug I come across, whether it’s a broken event or a comma in the wrong place in NPC dialogue, just because I don’t know if anyone else has reported it and if no one bothers it will take even longer to get fixed.

Although with events it’s good to make sure it is actually broken before you report it. I’ve seen a few people instead the Secrets in the Swamp event chain in Queensdale is bugged because there’s no way to trigger it when even the wiki says it’s on a timer and can only be triggered once every 3 hours or so.
