RequestShut servers down and fix ALL BUGS!
While I understand your frustration, you have to realize that bug fixing isn’t that easy even in relatively simple code. I’m also rather disappointed at how HoT was released (bad design decisions, bugs, worsening of client stability), but it’s just something we have to wait for.
And hope it doesn’t take three years to fix.
Ah, the next expert on multi platform client based applications.
If any program based on such a system would be shut down until all bugs are solved, none of them had any chance of ever going online again.
You would never have a computer program if you wanted all bugs fixed before being sent out. There is no program / game / etc that is completely bug free and even if you think it is then you are wrong as there is someone else that has found a bug with whatever program you think is free of those pesky things.
If you really want bug free computer programs / games then just get rid of your computer as it’s not gonna happen.
Why bother making threads asking for the (literally) impossible. Do you know of a way to code that is guaranteed to be bug free. If you do you should patent it. You’d make billions.
ANet may give it to you.
First. Bug Fixing is not as simple as just pressing a Button or set a Value from 1 to 0. Some Bugs can be very complicated and nearly impossible to find in the Code, despite being right there ingame.
Second: There are many Bugs that don’t exist until the Game goes live or certain Patches hit on Tuesdays. It may sound odd but Software can react different to Live Envirnment than it reacted on Test Environment.
Third: Fixing ALL Bugs is just unrealistic, every Program will have Bugs.
Bugs don’t get fixed quicker if the servers are shut down.
