Any spot with downed NPCs are now heavily camped, and since the WvW queue bug is preventing me from getting in, I can’t do it there.

Possibly not a great addition to the daily process.

Do AC SM with 4 new players.
Fireheart Rise has plenty of downed NPCs, you can’t camp them.
Start a suicide cult in Lion’s Arch.

Just be creative, that’s what the dailies are about.

There’s heaps of spots with dead quaggans and hylek etc. Or there’s this swamp place in malchors leap (I forget exactly where though) where there are alot of dead pact NPCs that have been killed by some champion patrolling the area.

Find a major world event. Res downed players occasionally.

Do a dungeon run, rez your team mates.

Find a group doing mass suicides or find someone else willing to do it with you.

Cave in southwest of Gendarran Fields west of Traveler’s Dale has miners who keep getting killed by bats/spiders. Further north in The Bloodfields also in Gendarran Fields there are Seraph who you are meant to res for the heart.

In Metrica Province the swamp in the center of the map always has downed Hylek. After you rez one it has a life expectancy of maybe 1 minute, so the supply is endless. As you might expect, the 400 pound (estimate) Hylek try to kill 2 pound dragonflys and are hopelessly overmatched. As an alternative there is always Grenth, where both you and your attack group can rez each other, if any of you survive long enough.

South east corner of the map, a heart to revive broken golems too. Lots of places in Metrica to do revive. Also the champion golem at the survivor’s encampment downs a lot of the Asura there and they are easy to revive :]

The only issue I see with this daily is that people are running up to a downed NPC, and ignoring a fight raging a few feet away to get the revive. While I understand the behavior, it’s not what was going on before this requirement was added.

I don’t think it’s that hard to accomplish overall, but I do not like the feels that it gives me. Now, during events where NPCs die, I think “I hope no one comes here and resurrects them before I can get to it,” and when someone does come it just goes to, “no, go away, these corpses are mine”.
To add, once I get my fill of rezzing I also avoid reviving downed NPCs, because other people need them; I think this is counterproductive as well, since it could delay event progressions.
