Retrain traits
A few silver based on level and traits spend, best to find a build you want and stick with it.
Which is the antithesis of Guild Wars. They tried charging for respecs in the first game, and eventually came to their senses and removed the mechanic.
Charging for respecs stifles innovation and dissuades people from trying harder content due to possibly having the “Wrong” build and having to spend money to get the “Right” one.
I suspect that the real reason respecs, armor repairs and teleport charges exist is to drain money from the player and gradually drive them towards buying gems with real world money and exchanging them for gold.
Therefore I may take some time replying to you.
Trait respecs are cheaper than a teleport to the adjacent map zone. I think it’s very nice.
Not at level 80.
Therefore I may take some time replying to you.
At level 80 teleports are also more expensive. I admit I’m not 80, but at 60 a teleport to the next zone costs me 1.50 and a respec 1.59
@kal.4350 Ummmm no! lol
Nod, trait respec costs 1-3 silver depending on how many points you have (max 70).
If you are buying the book again to retrait, you are being silly
lol I know several people who re-bought the book… Do people not read at all? It is about a Silver or Two cheaper then a Long Distance Way Point Tele.
Loathe WoW and the Community it brings.
I think 5 copper per point? 3 silver and 50 copper for full level 80 char with 70 trait points spent. Wiki mentioned something much higher. Don’t know if this was higher in beta and they have not updated the wiki by the time I checked. Have not checked again since.
What I fear: You could retrain yout traits and then they some patch could come and set the cost higher. I hope if they plan on changing the cost for this they’ll announce it early before doing so.
