Guild Wars 2

Hi everybody
I just returned to GW2, out of curiosity and hoping HoT will bring something fresh to GW2.
Also I noticed that I have some old power cores.

When I took a break from GW2 these were much cheeper. Should sell them ?

They haven’t budged much in price last few months if I remember rightly.
Until they get down to the last few , I doubt they will change much either

Since they are no longer obtainable as a drop but players can still with the help of the auction house complete the entire spinal backpiece they have risen dramatically in price because it has been so long since they did drop. They will continue to rise in price forever unless they are brought back into a drop table in the future.

Although they have fallen some since the announcement of an expansion as players with them who had quit have returned to prepare for or consider the expansion.

So really it is up to you whether you need the gold now for some or want to continue your investment in them.

I have some of these to I bought when they were worth under a gold….

There are two things I think about when I think about selling things like this.

Do I need the gold? These will appreciate in value. Gold sitting in your wallet will not.

Are they expected to return to the drop table? Unless they release a story journal for season 1 and have these as a reward. They are not going to increase in supply.

So if you said no to both these questions I wouldn’t sell.
