Returning......not
I agree with you. Only a few whines and Anet cave in. I’m getting frustrated with them and the game.
I agree the game has gotten rediculously stupid with the “real world” feel that these 4 yr olds play with in mentality and if i’m not mistaken, anet you’ll find that it’s a much older crowd that is buying these games, it’s sad that most of the “responses” we get are rude, if people don’t buy the game it’s because of the immature attitude that we get in response to our complaining about lack of fixing what you already got that’s broken as in gw1! Ever kill a dragon with 90mill people and graphics are so slow? That’s one major problem, but Oh let’s release a new expansion! that’ll fix it…idiots! fix what you got first, then fix your mechanics…funny how “story mode” dungeons are not able to be hardly play’ed by a single person…which you should be able to…ever think about a game that makes it more challenging as more players are in the area? along with the rewards?…or is that too simple for geeks to figure out? I enjoy the game, but hate the lack of respect we get as customers. It would be nice if you actually listened for a change….but that would be so simple you’d have to pull those hands away from your ears.
TBH if a casual wanted to do nothing other than run around in circles in a lvl 1-15 zone and beating up champs with a zerg with the time they had here, I would really ask them why they even played. There’s a whole world to explore and pretty decent pvp modes after all.
I considered myself a hardcore casual, being that I play/ed hardcore hours/amout of ingame time but played casually (not farming dungeons etc). With my time I would seriously consider farming trains a waste of time and further more plain BORING. Sure I understand the social aspect to it, talking with other players and such (not counting the mindless boring “where’s the train?” or silly arguments) but really, apart from that where’s the fun/challenge? I just don’t see it…
Been away from the game for a while as I didn’t like how it was being fashioned more for hardcore WoW raiders.
I was coming back for a look to see how the game is progressing & what Im seeing is old rehashed content.
Meanwhile the whinging raiders who constantly complained about champ trains & anything else that helped a casual make some progress are being pandered to at the expense of everyone else.
Devs need to get off their knees in front of these ppl & get back to what your original vision was.GW2 has left its original fanbase wanting & is now a poor manifestation of a great concept left pandering to the crowd from another game.
1. There’s nothing hardcore in this game, nothing.
2. The hardcore complained about champ trains? Take the blinders off, just like the world boss schedule change, & the Living Story it’s all tied to the gem store. Every decision made in this game is gem store focused.
3. Welcome to a game w/a cash shop focus, maybe players will finally understand this kind of mmo model. Free does not equal good.
Free = available, which = numbers. Quality has little to nothing to do with it.
So… this isn’t a “goodbye” thread even, this is a player who has quit a while back who now returns only to say he’s quitting again, or rather, not starting again…
Pfffftttt… countdown to thread lock.

Thread lock indeed. Mostly just rude people lashing out at ArenaNet and calling the Devs disrespectful.
What a joke.
Hi everyone,
While we thank you for your feedback, we’ll now close this thread since there is no room for a constructive discussion.
Thank you for your understanding.
