Welcome to the game…there’s a lot of changes and new content, but not all of it is still here. The world is moving and if you leave the game for long, you’ll miss some of the content. But there’s still plenty to do.
Yup, if you left back then, the game changed mechanically alot and alot of new features got added etc. There are alot of videos on youtube that will explain the changes GW2 have had since release which are kinda huge even if it doesn’t feel like it,
Regarding an expansion, Anet have been focusing on experimenting with the LS and other models. Now that we are finished with LS season 1, actual changes to the map and major feature additions maybe coming.
