Q:

I start buy saying sorry for my poor english, not my 1st Language, not even the 10th thanks to my awful school system and the “nationalism” of my country. (I won’t say which 1 to not give any chance about flammig about that.) I add that every comment about my english not containing a comment on-topic/flamming/trolling, etc wll be reported (according to the rules of the forum) to keep the post as much clean and constructive as i can.

My sorry goes to Vayne. You are often subject of trolling/rude comments (mines included) but there’s a reason for that. You are to much present…it’s like in RL…if the same person is always there, can happen that the only noise of his voice becomes annoying and u dont care much if he/she’s saying right or wrong things, you just get
annoyed by his/her voice (luckly my wife doesnt like Gw2 and videogaming in general or i would be in big trouble after this statement^^). Of course no one can say you when u shuld or not reply to a post, but keep in mind that jokes/trolling/rude speaking culd be there due to you high presence in the forums. That said, i renew my sorry, i’ll avoid in the future.

Due to lack of content, i was leaving the game to take another break. Well, nothing worth playing out ther (for me) so i reinstalled GW2 with the intent of playing the game trying (or at least give a chance) to those activities that never attracted me.
Speaking moslty of Jps, dungeons, achievements in general.

Comes out that some of them is giving me fun, the only “rule” i
gave myself is “don’t eat the cake all in once.” The Npe didnt touch me much since im not altaholic, so i went for cheapy collection and a second world completition and , why not, some of those new colours and some (craftable aka not behind-rng skin) i like.

So far the new way to play it’s working, but still there’s something that goes wrong.(yay Anet, we will never be happy, deal with it…it’s our "job"after all^^)

In particular i need sum suggestion from those who played while i was away (left around last september if i remember good).
So there are my questions:

1)I dont like to farm champs, i still prefer to farm what i need via single mob farming. Problem is that i’m not the only one thinking like this. Due to the incredibly op ferocity (when i left it was called critical damage, but the change of the name also resulted in an incredible increase of damage dealt making evrything too easy) i have problems farming when someone is willing to join me to farm the same type of mob.
As Elementalist, i often use staff to allow ppl willing to join to be able to loot since staff attacks are slow and allow other players to deal enough damage to tag the mob and loot.
Too bad that many (mostly thieves and wars, i’m not generalizing, there are polite wars/thieves out there) think that they are op. They come and start bi-shooting everything. In the beginning i thought “ok, i can go to another spot, no problem”. After a while i got sicked, went to d/d with the opposite result (they were annoyed by my damage + high mobility allowing me to reach next mob before em and they went away). Well, i don’t like to act like this.
It’s ll about loot? People is not able anymore to have fun? I was used to group, speak, joke and the fun was right when the loot was bad with the group linking “Fusk”, “Discharged Lodestone” and such…
Last episode: i was farming with 2 funny charrs(both wars in almsot full ascended gear), every1 was controlling his damage to allow evryone to tag the mob, and even the loot was fine…until 2 thieves from the same guild appeared starting to kill everything without any respect for others, even using waypoint to skip the 4 sec run to reach the mob-respawn point. (im speaking about the spark-farm around dwayna temple that usally is done by running clockwise).
Dinner is coming and i have to stop here skipping directly the question:
ofc i cant report this people for acting wierd but maybe i can avoid them by guesting on another server hoping to get a lower (or simply more polite) population.
Is this possible or even by guesting the megaserver will put me in a map-copy based on my home-server?
Thank in advance for any info. And sorry for the river post (it was supposed to be much longer so expect more for your pleasu…errr…annoyance^^…this was only the 1st question :-D)

A:

With mega-server there is no clearly defined way to avoid others. The map fills, a new one is produced, not enough people for a new map then you are with the same people whether you guest to another server or not.

Thanks for the reply. Tryed right now guesting both on the most poulated server and the less one. Got the same copy, at least the people/guilds i saw around were the same.
Guess i can ony deal with it.
