"Revive" vs. "Rally"
I agree. There’s also some confusion about “range” and “radius”. The Ranger trait Off-Hand Training gives offhand skills “longer range”, but it doesn’t say if that longer range applies to Warhorn’s Call of the Wild. Wiki lists both Range and Radius.
I’d like Anet team to go over trait list of every profession and put in numbers explicitly. Information like “Thrown elixirs cause damage when they land” or “Deal damage when interrupting a foe” is without meaning unless the number is stated.

I agree, change the tool tip to rally. However, I think all revival type skills should actually revive, not rally.
The situations where it makes sense to have a “res” slot skill are few and far between. Especially, when Rallying is usually easier to trigger via kills than wasting a slot on a skill for it. The Mesmer’s Illusion of Life skill I find especially useless, given your choice is to kill rally an ally or use a skill to have the player help rally themself while out of downstate.
The skills are barely useful regardless of res on down or res on defeated, but res on defeated is at least more useful.

I completely agree, the “res skills” should RESURRECT the person, not just help them up. The only time I’ve ever used a res skill was to get someone out of a mob of enemies in WvWvW or a dungeon, and even in those cases they usually end up going down again or just flat out dieing before I can get the animation off. Being limited to 3 people is fine as I’ll rarely find 3 downed/defeated players close enough for the radius to work.
I also agree with the numerical statistics on each increase from the traits/skills. I would also like it if there could be a chart somewhere of exactly how much space “600” or “900” and so-on of a measurement is considering we pretty much either just guess or judge it by ground target skills.
