Guild Wars 2

Tonics at the moment are useless and only offer a cosmetic change. The moment Potion of Ascalon Mages got nerfed so you can’t use your utilities, the price of it crashed and there is no longer a strong demand for it.

If all tonics where changed so that we can fight in them, this would make things interesting for players. Albeit a bit silly, it adds more fun to be able to run around like a dredge or quaggan in WvW.

All tonics should allow participation in the Costume Brawl if you ask me. That would make them at least somewhat useful to some people.

They nerfed potion of ascalonian mages? sigh We used that occasionally just for the lulz. Running around as a group of ghosts in PvE was mildly amusing. And they removed that? Annoying.

At least in Guild Wars 1 you could earn a wearable title if you used enough tonics. The only reason I don’t delete the ones I have now is just in case they bring that back.

Well no, they fixed it but its still partially broken. Before the change there was no way to get out of the transformation and you couldn’t change utilities anyway.

best tonic to get thats everlasting and cheap would be the cold or hard potion .
