So I read somewhere today that Rhendak the crazed is a world boss and as such rewards an daily chest.

Since I would like to attempt to kill this, I wanted to see when he would spawn with the new world boss system, but I cannot find him on the world boss roster in the post.

Does anyone know if he still rewards a daily bonus chest with a rare, and if he will be removed?

Another thing i don’t understand about the new system is the fixed times for events like this one and for example Ulgoth, is that they don’t have a pre-event that takes 5minutes, but sometimes up to 30minutes.

They said somewhere that this change was also meant to help ppl chain the meta events more, or something like that… but because of all the overlap won’t that scatter players btw 3or 4 events every time?

tldr: will rhendak still be world boss after update? and some random thoughts bout megaserver/worldbosses

I’m pretty sure Rhendak isn’t a world boss. He’s a boss for the mini-dungeon Flame Temple Tombs, and he has a loot chest that you can open after he’s dead.

The last time I killed him (which admittedly was months ago), he DID give a bonus chest like the other World Bosses, in addition to the big ground chest that spawns after his death. However, since few people do his mini-dungeon, this fact is largely unknown by players.

I honestly don’t know if he’ll still stay as a World Boss after the 15th patch, but I think it’s EXTREMELY likely that beating him is a requirement for unlocking a trait under the new system.
