While wealding a GS… How is this possible? Got it last night durring a fractal. Wiki doesn’t st anything about this being possible.

Sounds like a bug.

I got plenty of staff kills only playing warrior, my guess would be that some siege weapons count as staff.
Also got some kills with my warhorn. As it doesnt do any damage itself, i think those kills come from either blasting a combo field or the fire sigil aoe blast.

As I was in the dread fractal (where a lot of them have rifles ) I assmed I used wall of reflection and the mob getting hit by his own bullet counted towards my achivrment. This, however is my own assumption and was looking for a similar experience from the player base or a confirmation.

If this was the case it would make getting these achivements easyer with different professions.

Kills with utility skills count as other specific weapon types. One of them must be counted as rifle. What did you have in your Right-hand tray at the time?

((I completed a Hammer kills achievement with a sword/torch Guard who hadn’t even unlocked the hammer skills yet…))

At the time I had a GS with my swap being S/F.. WoR, Retreat, Purging Flames as my utilities.

I believe it’s WoR. I have some rifle kills, despite NOT having any rifle-equipped characters, but I use WoR against any projectile. I also think but can’t prove that retaliation counts as damage from the weapon that attacked you, which would account for some of my dagger kills, despite (again) not having any dagger equipped characters.

If I remember, I’ll do some testing Monday/Tuesday, and post back.

Skills that reflect projectiles, turn the enemys skills into your skills. If you reflect a Riffle Volley it will be like you are using riffle volley.

Environmental weapons often count, sometimes in very strange ways. The golem suit from the late-game priory air drop mission gives you hammer kills, for example.

The wiki is only as up-to-date as we, the players, contribute to it. There is mention, in the wiki, that certain Weapon Achievements can be obtained from utilities and other means. As well as some discussion on the Talk page.
