Is it working?

I’ve seen a few people use it for RP. Usually for French/Spanish/German RP, as I imagine it’s harder for those to find RP. I could be wrong though.

Most Piken Square RPers know each other, so there’s probably less of a demand for it with us, but still seen a few Pikeneers use it. Whether they ‘found’ RP through it or not I don’t know, but I’d like to see more of us use it.

As for me, our guild will be trying it out tonight as well, to see if we can drum up some IC-business.

As far as the stupid ERP jokes that narrow minded people have put on there, I’m pleased to say that there hasn’t actually been as many of those as I expected, though there were a few in the beginning, but hopefully the joke is wearing thin now, so genuine RPers can use it.

Unfortunately, I forgot to screenshot the “Hot Flame Legion” RP add that went up as soon as the patch hit. I got a lot of laughs out of them, but hope the jokes do end. And that they’re jokes.

Well, after trying out the LFG – it seems we got more attention from RP-Curious people than actual RPers tonight. We had a couple of people who have never RP’d before join, one of which gave it a shot, but I think they got a bit shy and ended it quick.

In conclusion – if the RP LFG attracts new Roleplayers, such as players who never thought they would RP until now, then this can only be a good thing.

I run a Mercenary guild, looking for work, and we advertised our party as ‘available for hire’ for RP reasons. I think if more RPers use this tool, it has the potential to catch on, and aside from the odd obvious troll (as you can see in the picture!), it can bring RPers closer together if we just have the courage to reach out there and use it!
