Guild Wars 2

I am thinking of switching serves and I was just wondering does anybody know of any active roleplaying guilds and which server would be best for them? Thanks :-)

For North American servers Tarnished Coast is the unofficial RP server, Piken Square in the EU.

It depends on which kind of character you roleplay as.
Anyway, the guild [RPcd] is great. They are on Tarnished Coast.
It is not my guild, I just go to their RP events whenever I can.

It means they want to act out their character like… “I am Greyhorn the North of Kryta! I am here the new ruler of Lion’s Arch! I was left for dead as a newborn and now I can’t fathom the sight of Bandits that roam the land! And I love mac n’ cheese from Rygar’s Pub in Queensdale!”

You get it now? It’s like… really nerdy stuff… too hardcore nerd for me.

HykCraft, you know, just the fact that you play Guild Wars 2 makes you a nerd right? So don’t knock roleplayers for being nerds because you’re one yourself. Only difference between a roleplaying nerd and a non-roleplaying nerd is that roleplayers are more creative. :-)

And it is such a bad thing to be a nerd .

Roleplaying is a great way to breath life into your character and is an ’end game’ activity that keeps many players in one game for years. Our story arcs can last for years, with new and exciting offshoots popping up regularly.

It is definitely not for everyone, it takes concentration and consideration for fellow Rpers, a sense of humour is required too.

I hear HB from Blackgate is a hardcore roleplay guild. You should check them out.
