So I bought some gems for a particular outfit style I like and low and behold, it ain’t available for purchase. Does the availability for purchase rotate or are the outfit styles that aren’t available for purchase simply not going to be able to ever be purchased?

Yes, the items on the gem store are rotated (usually around every Fall and Spring, I think). There are also special sales that happen a couple of times a year that will sometimes feature specific items. So, just keep an eye on the gem store, especially once it gets close to Fall.

They often rotate items in and out of the gemstore. Hold onto your gems, it’ll come back eventually.

There are some items that come back for festivities like Halloween or Wintersday. The rest is on a rotation that might potentially change each tuesday.
