let’s say i play Pof for few hours ,try it, and i wanna return to finish my dailies with my toons in Hot-Tyria.
How can I do this? is it possible by just relogging? and if so,
the things i do in those areas with those toons is saved?
or m I forced to just play Pof for the entire weekend with no progression?
I know this questions look silly for the experienced in Hot beta, but me and more are not, so please explain if you know and be as clear as you can.
Beta/Demo characters save no progress. Regular characters do.
If you want to play and have progress saved (and you can only play in non-PoF maps), use your regular characters.
If you want to play in PoF maps, use the Demo character(s). (No progress saved.)

So if I create and play a character in PoF right now, then logoff and login to my normal characters to do dailies, that PoF demo character and progress will be gone if I want to go back to it later tonight?

There will be crowds. Things will be killed before you see them a lot of the time if you’re out in the world. Just accept that and move on, it’s not like you need to worry about EXP or loot during this.
Some loot may be disabled. If you find something odd, don’t go nuts trying to figure out what it is/was. It may be just a simple weapon or bit of armor that’s not unlocked for the preview.
Accept that any new skins you unlock during this will be lost when this gets wiped, and can’t go to your main account. Try to not be upset if you find an excellent skin during this, you’ll get another chance in a bit over a month.
