Why not make rounded map as option within settings like it was in beta?

I would like to have rounded map in this game, as this squared one irritates me for 4 years already ><

The code is there, it takes very little to implement this.

Rounded maps are yesterday. Donut maps are the future.

I’m pretty sure the OP means the minimap. UI options like that would be nice for those who prefer a round minimap. I happen to like the square, it holds more info on my surroundings. I’d likely miss out on some mats nodes that I currently see in the corners if they were cut off to make a circle.

I much prefer the rectangle I use for the Mini-Map. The round one made me dizzy.
