So I bought this item and I’m happy with it, yet there is something that bugs me little bit. The Crafting Stations aren’t organized properly.

Cooking and Jeweling Stations are next to each others, brilliant. Meanwhile for example Weaponsmithing and Armorsmithing each one is on a side, inconvenient.

Logically you want the Stations to be organized according to the Weights.

That was my opinion, and would like to hear from you guys.

You’re probably technically correct. But I suspect most people either have different crafting professions on different characters (so can’t use the neighboring crafting table anyway) or don’t commonly cross craft (start crafting at one site, move to another site, return to the first site)

Be careful what you ask for
ANet may give it to you.

What’s properly organised though?

If it was me I’d do Armorsmith, Leatherworker and Tailor down one side, then Huntsman, Weaponsmith and Artificer on the other. Jeweller and Chef could go anywhere, but I’d probably put Jeweller with the armor crafts and Chef with the weapons (to even it out).

But then I have a friend who would be bothered by anything except putting them in alphabetical order, going left to right.

Because of weights. I have learnt my Crafting according to the weights, because it makes sense. If I want to craft something for specific class, its convenient this way.

That’s how I would organize it also. Weapons crafting on one side. Armor crafting on the other. The 2 that are neither can go anywhere, though I would probably put jewelry in with armorcrafting.

How do you organize weapon crafting by weights anyway?

Weaponsmith crafts weapons for profs that use all weights: mesmers use greatswords, for example. So I see no reason to group weaponsmith with armormsmith. Personally, I prefer all the armorers on one side (plus jeweler), all the weapon crafters on the other.

At least, in the Royal Terrace area there is the relevant master next to the stations. In the new WvW BLs, only half the stations even have a nearby master and the division between “left” and "right side seems even more arbitrary.

You are right, you cant organize all the weapons that way however most common ones are according to the weights. for example:

Warriors use Heavy Armor. Most of their weapons related to Weaponsmith except Rifle, Bow, Torch, and Warhorn.

I will not list every class since I know you are right, you won’t organize it perfectly but this is still the most convenient setup.

Again, that’s not at all convenient for me. My weaponsmithing character is also my tailor, because my main is a mesmer and uses tailored armor, swords, & greatswords (and now: shields). Any arrangement based on usage is going to be inconvenient for a lot of people.

Far better, in my opinion, to arrange them in a predictable way, regardless of the organizing principle chosen. Grouping armor crafts together is one simple way to do that, although there are plenty of others.

Does the pass work like a HOM stone, where you can activate it from anywhere, teleport to the terrace then teleport back to where you started when you are done?

Then you should have bought captains airship pass, problem fixed. I have both and like both, but airship is better on 3 things for me:

Acitity npc
The port locations are in Cities, but near their exit (super easy to immediately exit city), Royal terrace use center travel points.
Npc’s grouped up better
And perhaps black lion npc (royal doesnt have)

Royal terrace has more flavor though putting you in a city. Especially cause there are often Wintersday and other events there.

Legendary weapons can be hidden now!
No excuse anymore for not giving ‘hide mounts’-option
No thanks to unidentified weapons.

No. That doesn’t seem to be a possibility.

Whenever you move to a spot then leave and return to where you were, it is always from a place on the regular PvE map to somewhere that isn’t regular PvE (WvW, PvP, an instanced area. The HoM site is an instanced area). The Pass moves you from one spot in regular PvE to another spot in regular PvE so there is no return to where you were.

You don’t need a waypoint. Just double click the scroll.

They could as well let us sort the layout of Crafting Tables to be convenient for everyone. I need them to be grouped better, other people wants to group them differently. But I doubt it will happen.. lol

If you have tickets to spend you don’t need to have a weapon NPC. Just double click the ticket in your inventory to get the trade window.

In addition to this, if you have 10 scraps you can double click on the 10 scraps to pull up that Black lion Weapon skin vendor panel. From there you can buy a ticket with your scraps as well as a weapon skin with your ticket.

Heck, you can still double-click the single scrap (it just won’t be enough to convert into a ticket). Be nice if every token-like currency worked like this.

Even one scrap pulls up the vendor panel? I admit I’ve never tried that, just the 10 scraps after I read that was possible.
