Rubberbanding is killing this game
I don’t think the game is broken … I almost never rubberband, if ever. If the game were at fault for it, it would affect everybody.
Admittedly I don’t PvP so perhaps there is something going on in that specific part of the game. Other PvPers would have to weigh in on that. Still, this is likely an issue where you should be posting a request for aid in the technical or bug forums, not assaulting ANet for “breaking” something.
yea i don’t rubberband at all. how far do you live from the servers? try checking your ping to Texas if you live in NA. Then you can check your ping to servers using Ctrl+shift+esc go to PERFORMANCE tab, click on Resource monitor, Put a check mark on GW2.exe and watch latency. For example i live in California my ping to texas is 50, ping to servers is 50 to 80ms
Even if I don’t lag at all, after knockbacking creatures they often just snap back to where from I launched them. In a blink of an eye, just like that.

I have never rubberbanded in GW2. Have you submitted a support ticket or posted in the tech subforum?
If it was a core issue, everyone would be suffering, if it is an isolated issue, then they will need details to help solve it
After over two years of playing this game I’ve still never rubberbanded. I’ve had normal lag, but never rubberbanding.
It’s a bug introduced with a recent patch. It generally happens only when combining a movement skill (heartseeker, flanking strike, leap of faith, etc) with a teleport (steal, infiltrator’s signet, judge’s intervention, etc).
You won’t get the rubberband effect if you don’t combine skills, or if you’re using skills with no movement like whirling wrath.
