This is really disappointing. I was hoping to run around in combat with a parrot strapped to my back.

Welcome to the horror of engineer hobosacks. Go to the engie forum and look at any one of the dozen or so “oh god please no more hobosack” threads that exist in the first couple of pages.

It falls on deaf ears. Enjoy watching your aesthetics get murdered as you are reverted to a homeless bum, all because some people can’t distinguish whether the grenades you are flinging are actually part of the flamethrower kit or not without having a difficult to distinguish backpack on your back :-P

How are engineers supposed to follow their nose if Toucan Sam goes away every time they want to throw a grenade?!?

I love that back pack it is so huge that it is pretty much the coolest thing ever for an engi.
I am tempted to just run my pistols forever- please don’t make me!!!
