The “botting” in game has become worse, there are more of them by the day, and now the “bots” tele-port from mob to mob, in some cases making it impossible or very time consuming to complete a single heart, even if your using ranged attack it is still difficult. Go to another area you say? Sure, I’ll spend more gold I cant afford to travel to another area, only to find MORE BOTS.
I just love to waist the small pittance of gold I EARNED on way-porting, or on death from running across the world.
In addition to the frustration of being hindered in questing, there is also the issue of the economy, meaning that now you must work thrice as hard to “farm” and earn money only to find that what your farming sells for less due to mass bots selling bulk.
Sure , everyone likes low prices, but not when you worked to farm and are trying to sell.
After all what do they (bots) care about price, they didn’t EARN it, and certainly didn’t WORK for it.
I know there are “bots” in allot of games, but the “bots” here are blatant “in your face” rub it in. Like your not “cool” unless your “botting”.
Some will say “just report them”. Yea that has worked so well that the “bots” are multiplying like rabbits.
Is this a horrible joke from Anet? Is this how the game is "intended"to be played?
I follow the rules and mechanics of a game, but its apparent I’m playing WRONG because the game is being ruined for honest players.
So where is the “botting guide”? How do I enable “botting” in the settings?
Surely I’m missing something in the settings.
So, you know the old saying: " if you cant beat em, join em"……..
